Here’s a blog worthy of your consideration. Washington and Lee’s Campus Kitchen Project is offering commentary on its good work with both some interesting posts and good photography. For instance, you’ll find some interesting news about the CKP at W&L, including the fact that they have developed a partnership with the Head Start program at Waddell School (an elementary school in Lexington) through which families in need of food assistance are referred ot the Campus Kitch Project, which will deliver meals to the familes’ homes. The blog also reported that the CKP recently got its first client family that speaks only Spanish and that has provided opportunities for W&L student volunteers to put their language skills to good work. You can also read about the “Seed to Feed” project. W&L’s project is part of the national Campus Kitchens Project, which has its own blog from which the W&L blog is linked.
