Fox Business Anchor Examines Home Town Economy

dagen_mcdowell_ourteamDagen McDowell, one of the anchors on the FOX Business Network speaks today (Nov. 17) in Huntley Hall 327 on the current financial crisis and how the media are covering it. McDowell may also talk about what she found recently when she spent a day in her home town of Brookneal, Va., a town of slightly fewer than 1,300 residents located about 30 miles south of Lynchburg. McDowell return to Brookneal as part of a series of stories, Opportunity in America: My Hometown. You can watch some of her interviews on the blog site for that series. A business reporter for FOX News since 2003, McDowell has the distinction of having won three consecutive Cashin’ In Challenges, a stock challenge among the panelists on the FOX segment called Cashin’ In. That’s a pretty good record for an art history major.
